Un saluto ad una dolcissima corvettista che..

To all members of the ACCI and friends,

As founder and president of the ACCI - Austrian Corvette Club International, I with sincere regret have to inform friends, members as well as all owners of the Corvette sports car about the tragic loss of our president Daniela TAX SZILVAY.

Our Daniela was ripped from life way too early due to a tragic car accident on Friday 1 July 2005 .

Her love of Corvettes and her love for people who shared the same passion made her a member of the ACCI - Austrian Corvette Club International in the year 2000. From the very beginning onwards she was a "Power-Woman", full of energy and her quest for action. All members admired her for her special dedication to the club and anything which had to do with Corvettes.

She constantly demonstrated that she would be the right person to take on leadership of the ACCI as president. After careful consideration she followed my advise and nominated herself for this position. Not one questioned her nomination or doubted her abilities, thus, Daniela was voted for president in our general meeting on April 2nd.

She lead the club up to her last day to the best of her knowledge and with her well known high spirit and enthusiasm.

In the name of all members of the ACCI, friends, as well as in representation of all the owners of sports cars…….

Per quello che so' purtroppo gli e' partita la vette in una curva....con asfalto viscido...anzi...ho capito che stava piovendo... era da poco entrata in Italia a bordo c'era il suo fidanzato Frank....
L'auto deve essere stata un'ammasso di lamiere da richiedere l'intervento dei vigili per estrarla....
Per Frank e' andata meglio parlano di una marea di punti in testa e commozione celebrale...
Ricordo Daniela come una persona solare, carica di energia...sempre pronta a partecipare a qualsiasi raduno .....possedava una C5 che se non sbaglio aveva il cambio automatico...(lo odio quel maledetto cambio....almeno sulla vette).

Condoglianze a tutte le persone che condividevano con lei sentimenti e passioni in questo nostro passaggio sulla terra: siamo comunque di passaggio, lacrime a chi resta, felicità a chi ci lascia. Gli indiani d'america dicono che l'anima di un uomo si definisce non x come nasci ma x come muori: corvettista x sempre!!!!!
