On the 1970 cars, only the horizontal lines of the side grills
had the underlying metal exposed, on the ’71 and ’72 cars, both the
horizontal and vertical bars were unpainted. This included the framing around the
boxes as well as the extensions of the horizontal lines that trailed
back to the rear of the piece.

La mia è un model year 1971 ma è stata prodotta nell'agosto 70. Il motore è di giugno 70.
In effetti non ha mai montato la air pump. Non è stata tolta.

Quindi farò bene a restaurare i side fender come fosse una 70 ?

Oggi arriva il contakm. I pezzi ci sono tutti. Si rimonta spero presto e senza intoppi.
