Il motore, a meno che non sia stato sostiuito perchè rotto, è matching in quanto era previsto come allestimento sulla versione a cambio manuale.
"1996 introduced the new LT4 engine, with 330 horsepower, it was available only with the 6-speed manual transmission. The LT1 engine was limited to the automatic transmission. Two new options were created to fill the void created by the discontinued ZR-1, the Grand Sport and the Collector Edition. The Grand Sport included the LT4 engine and an Admiral Blue paint job with white stripes and red hash marks on the front fender. It also included black five spoke wheels. The collector edition included an exlusive Sebring Silver paint, special badging and silver five spoke wheels. It included the LT1 engine with the automatic transmission, the LT4 and manual transmission were optional. A new optional "Real Time Damping" system measured travel at each wheel and adjusted suspension options electronically. The optional Z51 suspension was tuned for autocross and Gymkhana competition. The Grand Sport convertibles came with a white top and the collector edition came with a black top. Polo Green convertibles came with Beige or Black tops but not white."
Io non mi preoccuperei più di tanto per il numero del motore... è messo in una posizione tale che se lo vuoi tirar giù devi smontare il blocco motore per poterlo leggere... come dice zorro, basta riportarli un numero di un motore simile (fatto per la mia), tanto quei buzzurri non controllano mai una mazza...
