Cammes LT1/LT4 x Stroker

Apro una nuova discussione così può far comodo a chi avesse un motore LT1/4 e vuole smanettare un pò.

Carissimo Strokerone ho trovato su Summit con la parola chiave LT4 questi cammes che per tua comodità ti scrivo di seguito: Quale di questi farebbe al caso mio? Ho visto però i regimi dei giri e stanno un pò sotto il mio regime massimo... ti elenco tutto:

CHE NE DICI DI QUESTO? AL MODICO PREZZO DI 172$????????? CHE NE PENSI PERO' DEL MINIMO, DA QUELLO CHE DICE SEMBREREBBE ABBIA UN MINIMO IRREGOLARE, NON è CHE è UN "HOT HOT HOT CAM?"

LT4 HOT Cam, 218 / 228 Duration@ 0.050, Hydraulic Roller Camshaft

LT4 Hot Cam can be used in any late model (1986 and newer) Small Block Chevrolet block for a significant horsepower gain at a reasonable price. This camshaft offer a slightly rough idle in most applications. Computer modifications are usually required, can be used in non computer controlled engines.

Quest'ultima è LT4 Hot cam. La stessa che tio proposto come kit sull'altro post.
mi sembra che sia un 112 LSA. e .525" di lift sia in exh che in intake con bilanceri da 1.6.

Io monterò una LPE 219! vai a vedere le specifiche!

Beppe, sai mica di quanto si discosta dall'originale questa cam che ho scelto? e quanto costa la tua?

Io non so come sia la LT4 originale, so solo che la LT4 Hot cam è praticamente montata su ogni LT1 e LT4 che abbia il motore un po' modificato.
Per montarla su un LT4 stock non c'è nessun problema
Per montarla su un LT1 di solito gli americani usano il kit che ti dicevo con già le molle e tutto il resto.
I più precisi LTunisti cambiano le valvole del loro Lt1 con le valvele stoch dell'LT4 che sono più leggere di quelle dell'Lt1 e degli L98.
Le valvole LT4 sono + leggere e lavorano meglio con le molle fornite con L'LT4 hot cam kit. Infatti queste molle hanno un max lift al limite dell'alzata dell'albero a camme in questione.
La Linghenfelter LPE 219 non è altro che una Accel 74219 che ha meno duration (219 @ 0.050 sia in asp che scarico) stesso LSA 112 e molta più lift (.560" con RR da 1.6).
COsta tantissimo, circa 340 dollari.
